When I first met Morgan, she was kicking butt at CrossFit Danville. So fast and so strong! I had no idea that she was a Kung Fu Master. Here is some of Morgan's Kung Fu accomplishments. When she is not doing either of those, she is busy being an amazing mom!! Morgan has been a client and a friend for a few years now and I always look forward to seeing her. I asked her a few questions about how she uses massage to keep moving...
Q: How often do you come in for massage sessions?
A: I try to come in once a month for massages, but it really depends on my crazy schedule. If I could, I would come in weekly though. I’m always reminded how good i feel after I walk out of Jessica’s office, and each time I’m done I swear to myself that I’m going to get in more. Then life gets in the way! :)
Q: How do you feel massage helps you?
A: Massage allows me to do what I love! I teach and train at East West Kung Fu 6 days a week and workout at Crossfit Danville 4 days, so my body definitely needs the help that Jessica provides. Between kung fu, CrossFit and running after our two year old, I am always on the go, so I love my massage time to just unwind and take care of myself. It has also helped to repair lots of different issues I’ve had, including recovery from my ruptured bicep tendon about a year and a half ago. I couldn’t believe the difference in my mobility after Jessica’s massage sessions post surgery.
Q: What would you tell someone about massage that has never received one before?
A: I would say, don’t walk, RUN, and get one! Once you try it, you’ll be hooked. It’s so important for physical maintenance, especially if you are an active person. But regardless, everyone can really benefit from great massage work, and Jessica definitely provides that!
